A beautiful sheltered corner of Dunnerdale amongst native oakwoods and flower rich meadows in a sweeping bend of the River Duddon. Adjoining the farmhouse the accommodation overlooks the garden, beck, rocky crags and the farmyard. Short breaks in the cottage by arrangement. The woodlands, garden and vegetable beds are all managed without using chemicals. Visitors are free to roam over 450 acres of farm woodland and pastures. Seasonal farm produce is occasionally available to buy. Home produced charcoal often available. The camping barn is in the farmyard, but safely enclosed. The price is per person per night from Sunday to Thursday nights outside school holidays. Sole use arrangements only available for two night weekends.
