Set in the grounds of the owners’ 40 acre working organic farm, this unique yurt style cottage is near the village of Stratton on the Fosse at the eastern end of the Mendip Hills. We farm the land using biodynamic principles. We have a small herd of Saddleback pigs, a flock of Jacob sheep, a herd of Jersey and Hereford cows, hens and ducks. The unusual cottage is set in its own gardens overlooking the fields. The light and airy open plan interior has a handmade four poster bed created from ash coppiced from the farm’s woodland, a roll top bath and contemporary logburner. Private covered patio with furniture and barbecue. Stroll straight into the countryside and discover the nearby woodlands and valley, or relax and enjoy the views across the fields.
