The shepherds huts sit beside Wiggold Wood and its ancient oaks, with incredible views across the fields. The main hut has a big double bed and cosy woodburner, table and chairs and gas ring. The second hut is a new, but original, addition, simply furnished with just a double bed - great for kids top and tailing or a second couple. There's a south facing outdoor fireplace for cooking and a simple outdoor kitchen with gas ring and cold water sink. It’s fifteen minutes' walk down the old railway line track to the farm shop and cafe. If you arrive before the shop shuts you can buy food from the farm, alcohol and general groceries. A compost loo is twenty seconds behind the huts in the wood and it's ten minutes' walk to a shower [£1]. All off grid - that's the beauty of it.
