Our shepherd's hut is called Lowenna, which means 'happiness' in Cornish. Set on an idyllic 120 acre organic farm, it has a comfortable king size bed with a woollen topper, a wood burning stove and a dropleaf oak table. The floor is oak and the walls are insulated with sheepswool. The paint is Earthborne and lighting is battery powered. Outside there is a second hut, with hot and cold water, a shower, a composting loo [a Separett loo from Sweden] as well as a kitchen with a gas hob and grill and a kitchen sink. We have tried to think of everything you might need, and in the process we stayed in five other huts around the country. Our research took us to some lovely places, but none of them were perfect. We think Lowenna is.
