A renovated island cottage with a total of seven bedrooms, located on a family run farm on an island off the West of Ireland. The land is grazed by horses and sheep, including a flock of milking sheep. When no courses are running, it is possible to stay at the farm, or to rent one of the houses. The accommodation is comfortable and relaxing with beautiful views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. We grow most of our vegetables and fruit organically in our gardens and polytunnels. Our open plan kitchen and dining room, with its wonderful views over Croagh Patrick, is at the centre of our home and likewise the centre of our retreats and courses at Macalla Farm. All meals are prepared and eaten here and we only serve vegetarian food.
