Dewalokam is a ten acre working organic farm on the banks of the Kannadipuzha in the lower ranges of the Western Ghats. On the opposite side of the river is a pristine tropical forest. Our peaceful homestay provides first class accommodation and exceptional quality food. Fresh home produce is used in the preparation of all meals. We produce vegetables, fruits, spices, milk, honey, fish and meat. Our farm is run on the principles of sustainability and responsibility. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are not used here. Guests can see and experience the abundance and diversity of mother earth. We recycle waste, produce biogas for cooking purposes and use solar energy for water heating. Activities include cooking demos, etc.
